As a new designer, your first day of training should focus on building a strong foundation in the IntelliVIEW® Suite. The courses below are recommended in a specific order to help you understand core concepts before moving on to advanced tools and applications.
Recommended Course Path
1. New Designer Day One Course
This course provides a structured starting point to help new users become comfortable with the IntelliVIEW® Suite and understand workflow and how the different modules work together.
2. Introduction to IntelliVIEW® Suite – Roof Trusses
Learn the fundamentals of the IntelliVIEW® Suite and how it applies to roof truss design. This course introduces new designers to Wall Input, Planes, Trusses, Job Designer, iDesign and Loading.
3. Introduction to IntelliVIEW® Suite – Floor Trusses
Once you’re comfortable with roof truss concepts, continue with floor trusses. This course builds on the same IntelliVIEW® foundation while introducing floor-specific design considerations and workflows.
4. Introduction to IntelliVIEW® Suite – iPanel
After understanding both roof and floor trusses, move on to iPanel. This course explains how IntelliVIEW® integrates with panel design and production, helping you see how designs flow into downstream processes.
5. Loading Course
This course is an introduction to loading principles and requirements, reinforcing how loads are applied and managed within IntelliVIEW® designs.
6. New Features
Review recent New Features content to learn about enhancements and updates to IntelliVIEW®, ensuring you’re aware of the latest tools and best practices from the start.
