Automatic Strongback Placement (iModel)
When adding trusses in iModel, strongbacks can be automatically applied by enabling the option under the Options button.
- Enter the desired spacing in the Strongback Spacing field.
- When this option is enabled, strong backs will be automatically added to the trusses at the specified spacing.
- If this option is unchecked, no strong backs will be added automatically.
Manual Strongback Placement (iDesign)
Strongbacks can also be added manually in iDesign:
- Use the Strongback tool to select the verticals where you want the strong backs applied.
Removing Strongbacks
- The Delete Strongback button is located in the same tool area in iDesign.
- This tool can be used to remove any unwanted or incorrectly placed strongbacks.
