Problem: Root Element Missing Error when launching iCommand.
Here are the steps to resolve the issue:
Close the software.
Open the file explorer and go to your install location:
C:\Intelliview\iCommand
Find the AppData folder\Settings.xml and rename it to SettingsOLD.xml
Now relaunch the software and it should work.
If not sometimes renaming the whole appdata folder is necessary:
Open the file explorer and go to your install location:
C:\Intelliview\iCommand
Find the AppData folder and rename it to AppDataOLD.
Now relaunch the software and that folder is recreated.
It may prompt for your connection settings.
If you are not sure of the connection settings you can copy this file, DBConnections, from the AppDataOLD you just rename to the new AppData that was created.
This should resolve the issue.
