Issue:
This error keeps coming up while opening the program, “Autodesk Revit: Create assemblies from element groups couldn’t be updated because: The following exception was thrown, Exception # 1 = Root element is missing …….”
Solution:
Uninstall the VisionRez for Revit 201X. Verify that the C:\Program Files\ITW\ITW Revit Extensions 201X folder has been removed or deleted as well as C:\ProgramData\AlpineITW\VisionREZ201X
Re-install the VisionRez for Revit 201X application
The input argument "view3d" of function `anonymous-namespace'::ReferenceIntersector_constructor or one item in the collection is null at line 68 of file d:\ship\2018_px64\source\api\apidbapi\gensrc\APIReferenceIntersectorProxy.cpp.
Parameter name: view3d (this path is just an example)
