When information is not being populated in the Nanocad boarder title blocks form alpine follow these steps to resolve.
1). From the Alpine toolbar in nanoCAD click on the Alpine Console icon.
2). When the dialog window appears take a look at the Database field. It may look like it is populated however if you click on the drop down arrow no databases maybe listed. To reconnect click on the refresh icon to the left of the Database field.
3). Now click on the Database dropdown again. The databases should now be listed. To populate the border file you can either click on the Fill or Update icon from the Alpine toolbar or reload the drawing.
If you select the database refresh button and the database drop down shows data and then doesn’t if reselected you may have to go into the Qplot.xml file and manually edit the connection information.
The Qplot.xml is located in the Nanocad install folder:
C:\intelliVIEW\nanoCAD\QPlot.xml
Open the Qplot.xml in notepad and edit the connection information if it is not correct.
Many times it is logged in as the Admin and not the current user.
Is that instance you will want to remove admin and replace with the users name that they use to login to the database with. This can be gathered from iCommand.
