The perimeter lines around an attic opening should go perfectly around the opening as it does in this example.
The next two examples show ways perimeter lines for an attic opening could be incorrect:
To correct the perimeter lines you must edit the 3D opening. There are two ways to access this function.
From iModel select the Trusses icon and then select the Edit 3D opening icon
. Then select the 3D opening you would like to edit and hit enter. The 3D Opening dialog box will appear and you will select Options.
The Opening Options dialog box will appear allowing you to edit the opening. After edits are made simply select OK for them to take affect.
To edit the 3D opening in the truss from iDesign select the Edit Tools icon and then select the Edit Opening icon
. The Opening Options dialog box will appear allowing you to edit the opening. After edits are made simply select OK for them to take affect.
If the solutions are ineffective, it may be necessary to delete the 3D opening and then add it back in iModel.
